Have you always wanted to create your own pottery? Here is your chance to learn how! In this class you will learn the basics of wheel throwing and start practicing. You will also learn how to prepare the clay for throwing.

We will spend about 30 minutes with a demo covering the basics of wheel throwing. Then you will spend time prepping clay and throwing.

Note: You may or may not get a finished piece out of this first session! It’s all about learning the process and then practice, practice, practice!

Once you have taken this class, you can sign up for Ceramics Studio to practice more on your own (with a teacher present to help as needed), or sign up for a future session of this class if you feel you need a bit more instruction before striking out on your own.
