Virtual Piano Lessons
OverAll Structure and Procedures
(1) Instructors contact students directly via FaceTime, Facebook Messenger, or Zoom.
(2) Instructors have access to their own piano/keyboard and duplicate copies of teaching materials. Students may be asked to order books or print off sheet music at home.
(3) Parents of younger students are asked to be available during the lesson to assist if needed.
(4) Students are sent practicing tips and online resources to help give structure and continued musical interest. They also have the ability to participate in a rewards program with prizes sent to their home.
(5) Every-other month the school puts on a virtual recital for all students, their friends and families.
Private Piano Lessons Integrated Study
5+ years old
COST: $27 per 30-minute lesson (SIBLING RATE: $25 EACH LESSON)
(one-Time initial fee of $10 added to first bill for lesson book and materials sent to student’s home.)
Students of all ages and experience levels are welcomed to study private piano at Roselle Fine Arts Academy. Our Integrated Study program makes sure students have a comprehensive knowledge of music fundamentals while also tailoring lesson goals and activities to the interests of each individual. Following Illinois state standards, our instruction includes note-reading, theory, harmonization, ear training, scale skills and technique, and performance repertoire. Students who study privately also have 7+ performance opportunities annually including both informal and formal recitals and local competitions. Students ages 10-17 also have the opportunity to participate in Roselle Rocks™, a monthly workshop that brings young musicians together to play in a band setting.
Private Piano Lessons Advanced Study
12+ Years Old
COST: $40 per 45-minute Lesson
(one-Time initial fee of $10 added to first bill for lesson book and materials sent to student’s home.)
This higher level of study is by teacher recommendation only. Student lessons are 45-minutes and move at an accelerated pace with advanced repertoire and detailed instruction. Advanced students also have a number of additional options, including: increased performance opportunities, state and national competitions, creation of a portfolio/press kit and/or development of social media presence.
